ABOUT US
Robert grew up in Florida and has always been an avid horticulturist. He attended Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida State University and University of Florida where he studied horticulture.
A brief stint in Palm Beach and Los Angeles saw him associate with notable clients. Working with trend setters on Worth Avenue for their businesses and homes launched his career in design and build.
In 1975 he came to Sarasota to embark on a new chapter in his life. He started his landscape business working for contractors, designing and installing new landscapes for model centers and personal homes.
Since then, he has continued to forge new ideas and concepts for both business and residential landscapes.
In the early 80s, Robert Davie's landscape advertising was simple, conveying a concept that is more than just a trend today, read "think green," 30 years ahead of the curve.
Green that sustains itself and green that appreciates over time has always been a governing philosophy of his landscape projects.

Greg Harazda, Field Project Manager
Greg has been Robert Davie’s trusted right-hand person for more than 20 years. He is usually on site for the duration of each project, solving issues, overseeing the implementation of each project with a considerate eye, and the front-line contact for each client.
You can usually find Greg with a shovel in his hand ready to help plant!
If a landscape grows more beautiful over time it appreciates, instead of a project that has to be ripped out after a couple of years. Creating a beautiful balance between the architecture and landscape is a driving force and underlying goal.
