SARASOTA, FL – September 17, 2010—Landscape Contractor Magazine honored Robert Davie & Associates “Best of the Best – Theme Project” in its September issue for the New Orleans inspired design of an Old Forest Lakes resident in Sarasota.

“This was a wonderful and challenging project to develop,” said Robert Davie, the firm’s president and head designer. "We went into the project with the challenge of designing and incorporating many outdoor elements into a cohesive and livable space. The clients asked us to create a New Orleans inspired environment that included a pool, spa, planters, gardens, and an outdoor fireplace."

The project previously won the award for Best Residential Landscape in the State of Florida from Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA).
