Siesta Key Pelican Press Features Robert Davie's Landscape Awards

Siesta Key

Pelican Press

SARASOTA, Florida – December 4, 2010 – The Siesta Key Pelican Press Newspaper featured Robert Davie & Associates Landscaping in an article on Sarasota landscape designs entitled “New Orleans style Shangri La.”

Diana Colson, of the Siesta Key Pelican Press, writes “Robert Davie & Associates Landscape has created a backyard so remarkable it has taken two major landscaping awards… when Robert Davie was first interviewed by the owners after they had spoken to – and rejected – numerous other companies. Other landscapers simply had not listened to the desires of these owners… [and] were not “going outside the box…”

Colson continues “In 2008, the entire property won an award from the Florida Nursery & Growers Landscape Association for the Best Residential Landscape in Florida. In 2010, it was featured in Landscape Contractor Magazine as “Best of The Best – Theme Project.” Robert Davie & Associates’ lighting was recently featured on CNBC as an example of one of the top current [landscape lighting] design trends.”

Robert Davie remarked “…of course, we’re delighted with the recognition of our landscape awards – but more importantly, we’re grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such wonderful clients to produce stunning landscapes… In this challenging economic landscape, it’s more important than ever, to not only bring our landscape design expertise and 35 years of experience to a project, but also truly listen to our clients, find creative solutions and incorporate their ideas into a finished landscape that we’re all happy with, proud of and cherish – it’s an organic relationship.”
